Diagnostic assessments at Prince Kitty Co will be done by Angelica Gehlich, LCSW, MSW, Prince Kitty Co LLC. These assessments will be conducted with a series of chosen self-questionnaires, assessment tools, and using the MIGDAS and/or DIVA in the interview portion. The evaluation process may differ from other providers; however, Angelica will utilize the most inclusive and affirming tools available (which may change as assessment tools evolve over time). This assessment process is for people who are interested in a “formal” or “official” diagnosis. This cooperative process involves collecting social and developmental history, participating in one or more diagnostic interviews, completing self-report questionnaires, and receiving a comprehensive written report. A follow-up meeting is included to review the report and discuss the evaluation findings. We also offer diagnostic assessments with a 1-page diagnostic summary, which will be a bare bones report summarizing the specific tools that were used without going into details. This option may be more cost effective. The cost comprises equitable pay for time spent on the different services within the assessment process using the rate of $60/$75/$100/hour: Reviewing Questionnaires and Materials before and after interview: 2-3 hours; Interview Process: 2-4 hours (depending on assessment(s) chosen); Writing comprehensive diagnostic report: 5-7 hours OR Writing 1-page diagnostic summary: 1-2 hours; Review and Recommendation Session: 1 hour. Payments will be split into 2 equal payments automatically deducted day of interview and day of review.

What is Barter?
Bartering is a mutual agreement where goods or services are exchanged in place of monetary payment. All barter agreements are handled with the same professionalism, confidentiality, and care as traditional payment.
Guidelines for Barter Agreements
We welcome barter proposals based on the following criteria:
- Both parties agree enthusiastically and without pressure
- The exchange is equitable and sustainable for both sides
- The value of goods or services can be clearly defined
- A written agreement outlines expectations, scope, and duration
- Either party can end or renegotiate the agreement with notice
We do not accept barter involving:
- Intimate labor (e.g., housework, emotional labor)
- Items or services that cannot be clearly valued or exchanged legally
- Services that may create dual relationships or conflict of interest
How to Request a Barter
If you're interested in exploring a barter option, please contact us with:
- The service or goods you would like to offer
- Estimated fair market value
- How you believe this exchange could be mutually supportive
We offer only a limited number of barter slots at any given time to ensure equity, professional sustainability, and capacity.
Important Information
The invoice for each session will be labeled CIS Customized Individual Self-Care Consultations for traded services/goods. *CIS fee = trade in services for equal valued goods/services, based on standard fee of $100/60 minutes for therapy.
Either party may end this agreement with at least 5 days’ notice if exchange has been balanced out. Any “credits” owed will either be planned or paid at the sustainable rate of service. If the exchange causes additional stress in either party, this agreement will need to be terminated and reconsidered. If the exchange interferes with therapeutic services/participation in therapeutic services, this agreement will need to be terminated and reconsidered.
At the end of the duration agreed upon, we will review and re-establish a new agreement. We agree to renegotiate if the value of goods/services changes at that time.
Barter agreements must be in writing and signed by both parties.
Things to Consider
These services will be limited to first come, first serve. We will have a waitlist for the ethical exchange of services if this is the preferred method of trade/payment. Based on the nature of services, we are not able to determine how long the wait will be while on the waitlist.
Ethical Exchange & Barter Model for Services
Barter systems can be beautiful forms of mutual aid — but they need clarity, boundaries, and consent to stay equitable and sustainable for all parties involved.
Core Principles
Transparency – Be clear about the value of services exchanged (not just time spent).
Consent – Both parties freely choose to participate without pressure or guilt.
Equity – Exchange honors skills and labor fairly, even if goods/services are not "equal" in market value.
Boundaries – Clearly define scope, timelines, expectations, and exit points.
Sustainability – The arrangement should not create financial or emotional hardship for either party.
Non-coercion – Bartering should never be the only way someone can access care; it should be one of many options.
Sample Barter Evaluation Questions (For Both Parties)
What is the fair market value of each service or good being exchanged?
How many sessions or hours will be included?
Are both parties comfortable with this being a non-monetary exchange?
How will we track time/value fairly?
What happens if someone needs to stop or change the agreement?
